We released a number of major features for Artifact owners today:
1. Artifact owners are now able to mint Artifacts they own as NFTs on Ethereum (just like minted Yats), and display, transfer, or sell them via MetaMask and OpenSea.
2. If you acquire an Artifact NFT, you can import it into your Yat account by syncing your MetaMask wallets with Yat — the exact same way you currently import/sync Yat NFTs).
3. Our Artifacts gallery at https://y.at/artifacts is now viewable by the public, not just logged-in Yat users
Instructions on how to mint your Artifact:
You can mint your Artifacts using MetaMask via Ethereum only. (Please note that if you try to use any other currency or chain, you may lose any fees.) To mint, just follow these instructions:
1. Find the artifact you want to mint in your collection: https://y.at/artifacts
2. Hit the “Mint” button at the bottom of the screen
3. Hit “Connect MetaMask” to open the MM app on your browser or mobile (or download it and create an account at https://metamask.io/)
4. Pay gas fees, and voila! You’ll see a link to view your Artifact on OpenSea. Don’t worry, sometimes the metadata takes a few minutes to show up there, so if something looks weird try refreshing in a few minutes.
