2FA, Transfers, & Dashboard Changes

Scroll Down

2FA: Allow users to enable 2FA via Text Message or TOTP/Authenticator app

  • Caveats for the feature:
  1. Currently, all creators will be prompted when they log in, to set up 2FA.
  2. We have hidden the option to enable 2FA via Text Message as we are limited to sending 500 messages a day, and if we hit this limit there is a risk of clients not being able to access their accounts as they will not receive the code.
  3. Transfers:
  4. 2FA code is valid for 10 minutes before expiration, once they have logged in.
  5. This means that if a creator logs in and immediately does a transfer within that 10 minute window period, then they will not receive a prompt for 2FA code before continuing on with the Transfer.
  6. If a creator transfers a Yat 10 minutes after logging in and authenticating with 2FA, they will then be prompted to authenticate.
  7. Creators will be able to disable 2FA via the Security Settings option in the menu panel.

Transfers: Creators now have the ability to Transfer a Yat.

  • Caveats for the Feature:
  1. When a transfer has been successful, the Sender and Recipient will need to refresh their browser. This will enable the Sender to no longer see the Pending Transfer or Yat in their account and will also enable the Recipient to see the Yat appear within their account.

Dashboard and Sidebar: Design Improvements, dark mode incorporation:

  • The following features and improvements have been added to the Redesign:
  1. Yat Sidebar: This is where a creator will have a view of all of their Yats.
  2. Creators are able to group their Yats
  3. Name their groups
  4. Re-order their groups if they so wish to.
  5. Redirect Power up:
  6. All current functionality is retained.
  7. The Redirect power-up will no longer open in a different screen, it will now slide in from the right when selected.
  8. Yat Page:
  9. Yat Page has incorporated the new dark mode Navbar on the Edit page.
  10. All functionality currently remains the same.
  11. Copy Share Module:
  12. No functional changes, just a change to match the new design styling.
  13. Explore the Yativerse:
  14. This section displays links to Community, such as drawing attention to joining our Discord server.
  15. Showcases community members Yats and artwork
  16. Announce events

Pre-owner State:  Creators that are authenticated but do not own any Yats;

  • When creators that do not own a Yat log in, they will no longer be redirected to the emoji Canvas.
  • They will now be redirected to the dashboard page for creators that are authenticated but do not have a Yat.

Maintain ordering on y.at cart:

  • Reason: When a creator adds multiple Yats to their cart, the Yats are not ordered as they have been added.
  • Change: Yats are now retained within the cart as the creator has added them in.
