No More Waitlist, The Visualizer, & Other General Updates

Scroll Down

The Visualizer

  • Reason: Creators need to first create a Visualization before progressing through to be able to Mint their Yats.
  • Change: We have created a stunning tool through which Creators can Visualize their Yats in a variety of ways. They can then download the result to share or go on to Mint them using our Minting process.

NFT Minting Entry Points

  • Reason: We want our Creators to be able to Mint and list their Yats on OpenSea.
  • Change: After having Visualized their Yats, Creators can now Mint them into NFTs via MetaMask and list them for sale on OpenSea.

Removal of the Yat Waitlist

  • Reason: Yat is now open to anyone who wants to create a Yat!
  • Change: New Creators will no longer have to sign up to the waitlist or use an invite to access Yat.
  • Change: New Creators will only be prompted to create an account once they have selected a Yat and clicked on “Buy now”.
  • Change: Existing users will be prompted to login in order to checkout.

Username Password feature

  • Reason: The magic link is not always so magical. We want to give our Creators a more reliable way to log in.
  • Change: Existing Creators are now required to set a Password before checking out and when they select to Login with an existing account.
  • Change: New Creators are prompted to create an account and set a Password prior to checking out.

Pricing changes

Display Generation One Badges Across Yat

  • Reason: Generation One has launched, so badges indicating Yat Generation need to be added to differentiate which Yat belong where.
  • Change: We have added in a Gen One badge to the Post Creation celebration screen so Creators will be notified that their Yat is now a part of Gen One.
  • Change: We are now displaying Gen Zero (“0”) vs Gen One (“1”) on the dashboard for a selected Yat so that Creators are able to easily tell which Generation the Yat was purchased in.

Update to TOS and add NFT Minting License

  • Reason: We have received feedback that our Terms of Service (TOS) was confusing, and we wanted to be as transparent and Creator-friendly as possible.
  • Change: We have updated our TOS and added in an NFT Minting License to the Yat site and the landing pages so that Creators are able to easily access these updates and read through them.
